Partner Results! Execution means success!
We just wrapped up another 90 day check-in with one of our partners… his results are pretty impressive.
And a big part of that has been his willingness and commitment to following the process.
We talked last week about the importance of having a plan… but lets be honest, plans don’t always go the way we want.
In fact, it’s rare that they do.
So if it rarely works why have it?
Well, a few reasons.
1. It helps us prepare for contingencies
2. It helps us avoid simple mistakes
These two alone are huge.
But the most is important is this:
3. In times of chaos, it helps us focus on the MAIN GOAL.
What is the actual mission, and are solving the appropriate problems to complete that goal.
The fact of the matter is this – that’s incredibly hard to do in business, especially in the beginning.
Why?
There are so many things to keep track of.
Most people think they’ll start a business, they’ll work hard, and everything will take care of itself.
And that’s just not true.
The reality is, you have to take care of everything… and solving those problems takes time, knowledge and execution.
When there are a 1000 problems flying at your face, you need to know which of those problems is the MOST IMPORTANT.
Execution is as much about prioritization of action as it is anything else.
The plan, helps you stay focused on that priority.
That’s a big part of the reason we focus not just on the systems and the skill you need, but also provide a blueprint and support. So you know the main goal and (more importantly) can be encouraged and guided to focus on that goal when things go off course.
And being able to focus your energy in the right place makes a world of difference.
Now, I want to give you fair warning…. Logan’s results are really impressive. One of the most impressive to date.
And a big part of that is because Logan is working is ASS off. Seriously. He’s hustling every single day and taking all the necessary steps.
That said, if he can do it… it means it can be done.
And that means with the right systems, and right level of effort… you could too.
Cheers
Steven Jordan
P.S. He painted his first set of cabinets at our training in April. Pretty crazy.
